Get ready to be Cycle Savvy! 💪
This isn’t just a class—it’s an opportunity to feel confident, informed, and empowered about your body. We’re here to teach girls ages 10–15 everything they need to know about periods, puberty, and self-care in a fun, supportive space.

Who It’s For:
Girls ages 10–15 who want to better understand their bodies, build confidence, and connect with peers in a positive, judgment-free space.

  • Lavender Winged Support Services

    Sonja is a Registered Yoga & Meditation Teacher (500YTT), Core Confidence Specialist, Full Spectrum Doula, La Leche League Leader, and Certified Infant massage instructor. Sonja is a mother of three and surrogate of one. She has a background in mental health and is a behavioral therapist with focus on, sexuality, couples, intimacy, women's health communication and family therapy. Sonja is trained in birth, postpartum and prenatal yoga and can do private classes as requested.

    She is continually working on education and upgrading her courses and skills.

    Heatheris a Holistic Wellness Practitioner with a specialization in menstrual health, reflexology, and Reiki. She is a passionate advocate for body literacy and cyclical living, working to empower women and teens to better understand their bodies and embrace holistic health.

    Heather believes in meeting individuals where they are and supporting their unique wellness journeys.

FAQs

Q: What should my child bring?

A: Just themselves and a journal if they want! All other materials will be provided. If they have any resources or products that they want to explore in class, they can bring those too.

Q: Is this class appropriate for all girls?

A: Yes! We ensure all discussions are age-appropriate, inclusive, and empowering. We will send out surveys to gauge where they’re at.

Q: Can parents attend?

A: This is a tween-focused class, but we’ll happily share updates and answer questions afterward!

Q: What sort of questions do you ask on the pre-class questionnairre?

A: You can find a copy of the questionnaire for parents here. And for participants, here.

Q: Do I need to pack a lunch?

A: We will provide lunch for participants. Information about allergies and dietary restrictions will be requested in the pre-class questionnaire.

Q: My child is a bit above or below the recommended age group, can they still come?

A: Absolutely! You know your child the best, if you feel that your child would benefit from this course and you’re ready to have some follow up conversations with them.

Q: As a parent, I don’t know how to talk about body empowerment and menstrual cycles with my child - do you offer support for parents?

A: Yes! Heather offers a Menstrual Cycles for Men 101 course periodically as well as a library of online resources and both Heather and Sonja offer 1:1 Support with parents and families to empower families at home too. We will also provide you with some resources for continued learning at home.
