Why Mindful Menstruation

There are TWO 6-week cohorts of Mindful Menstruation this round.

Sundays will be Virtual at 6:00 pm EST beginning April 7th, 2024.

Mondays will be In-Person at 7:30 pm EST at 311 George St N. Peterborough beginning April 1st, 2024.

Mindful Menstruation includes wisdom from other cyclical beings, as well as guidance through movement, feedback on your personal journey, guided worksheets, and a safe space to connect, smash stigmas, and share experiences.

I’M HEATHER LITSTER

Holistic Health Practitioner, Period & Cyclical Living Expert and internet personality on @heathersholistics.ca

 

My health journey began as a child going through big life event after big life event with no healthy outlets or ways of understanding what was happening to my body.

 

Growing up, all of that felt manageable and truly, I didn’t take it seriously until 2020, after a combination of stress and hormonal birth control sent my body, mind, & spirit into a downward spiral.

 

I had depression, anxiety, addiction issues, inflammation, persistent kidney infections, chronic fatigue and to top it all off--- a new break up.

 

I knew I had to totally revamp my life, my nutrition, and ditch my chronically busy lifestyle, and allow myself time to heal. 

 

And that was just the beginning of my healing journey.

 

Over the next 3 years, I learned how to manage my stress and figure out how to structure my lifestyle to support my body and health.

 

All of this led me to my passion for hormonal & cyclical education. Because it feels really important to empowered with the knowledge to heal your own damn body.

 

Taking care of your body isn’t just about food and exercise, it’s also about how you live your life.

 

It’s about experiencing joy. It’s about your confidence, your connection to your energy flows and knowing that you deserve to feel good in your body ALL MONTH LONG.
